Caramel Carousel
My name is Gavin Washburn and Caramel Carousel is a new project I formed in the Summer of 2025. I've been writing, recording and performing music since the late 1990s. These songs are musings about my life and get to the point fast.
CC is my version of rock and pop fusion with a little country crossover appeal. I lean hard into sex, drugs and rock and roll based themes. And, I throw in a little controversy and nostalgia sometimes too... I am a human being after all and I'm passionate AF. Caramel Carousel is a vibe with tight production and a smart sense of timing and structure. It’s music for the mood.
12 Year Silence
12 Year Silence is basically a summary of my life from 1999 to 2019. This album was really fun for me and quite honestly, a blessing. I hadn't written anything in so long, sometimes it felt like I was just a body with a vacant soul. Feels incredible to be writing and playing again and I'm never going back.
